Whether it be a fashion spread, an intimate portrait, Advertising work or capturing the essence of a wedding, I approach each monumental experience as a professional artist and that is pure joy for me.
Photography is my form of expression to share the intense emotion I feel as I experience this amazing world! I feel blessed to have such an amazing outlet.
In 1999 I received a McKnight Fellowship & Jerome Travel Grant to study my Nordic ancestry. I traveled Northern Sweden and Norway and instantly felt overwhelmed with the scenic beauty. Inspired, I continued to travel through Mexico, Cuba and finally ending in North America. This amazing experience left me fascinated with photographing the human and natural scenic landscapes of our world.
Prices: Each Job is unique wether it be a wedding or a Ad Job or editorial work or a Wedding but here is a outline.
Weddings
My Packages? ... well, this is Your "Special Day" so I firmly believe in working with you and yours to come up with "Your Package" not mine! So lets do it and get it right for you! My non "full package"rates are usually based upon providing you with my Photographic Artistry and Time and the usable Photo files only but all will include one 11x17 inch Archival Print of your choice so you can see the quality of my printing.
Rates will average between 800.00 to 2500.00 Dollars. Day of teh week, time of the year, type of wedding and degree of coverage will determine cost.
I will gladly discount off-season,Deep Winter, mid-week and shoot and run quickie weddings and I love them!
MEXICO WEDDINGS ETC!!!
I also Love destination weddings and do not charge much to make them happen as I Love to travel! I am often available in Mexico in the Winter months and usually charge nothing to very little to do your wedding there! All I require is a Pallapa (or fabulous suite) a bottle of good cheap tequila (for after the ceremony! `~) ) a lime and some good Fish tacos!
The full day 2800.00 package does include:
1- All FIles (photos) usually from 1200-2500 shots. All of which will be semi processed (which are generally good edits suitable for printing), and then your favs usually between 200-300 are fully processed completely. I am also very flexible on this.
2- All photos will be available for your viewing on your own private webpage on my website for you to choose your favorites and share with friends/family.
3. A one night* stay at my * Artists Loft vacation rental on the harbor in downtown Grand Marais for a engagement/pre wedding get to know each other/ short photo shoot. This can also be used for a Post wedding/Honeymoon stay.
*(can be used only off season or last minute short notice subject to availability. Also can be transferable to a friend or am member as a gift such as a groom/attendant gift. I am also very flexible with this. Basically I am very flexible period! `~) ) see @ www.grandmaraisrentals.com
4. All files will be presented on your own personal portable hard drive as well as downloadable from your webpage.
5. A print assortment such as
a. 2 museum grade 11x14" prints of your choice one of which will be framed
b. 2 13x19" Museum Grade prints of choice
c. 6 8x10" prints of your choice
d. 30-40 5x7 or 4x6" Prints
6. A 20 page 10x10 Album of your fav photos. That I will put together or you can be partly involved in.
7. A very relaxed fun and pleasant wedding photographer experience!
